Do Barber Shop Signs Sound Interesting?
Barber signs are more than just a white and red striped pole that rotates. These have traditionally been found in front of a barber shop to let people know its location. Still today there are other signs that are used as well or in some cases instead.
Barber shop signs are found outside the shop to identify the business and draw attention to the shop to customers. Often the barber shop name sign is in the window. This could be painted on the window, but there are other ways to do this. Vinyl letters are growing in popularity. The letters and numbers are cut out of vinyl material, which are fade resistance and weather resistance. Vinyl lasts for years staying vibrant in color and durable as well as remaining in place. The contact number might also be included. A sign cling is another option that might work perfectly for the front door window of a barber shop. It would be a smaller version of the picture window sign and include the contact number. These letters might also be placed on the door itself. Yet, another option for putting barber sign lettering on doors are magnetic. These are strong letters and numbers or a poster-size sign placed on a flat surface that can be removed at anytime, if needed.
Signs are found inside the barber shop too. It could be tin or steel signs with possible plastic signs displayed as well. Barber shop signs inside might be located in a break area or break room that is used by workers. These could indicate area rules including washing your own dishes or not leaving food in the refrigerator overnight. Also, announcements could be presented through signs, such as special work events or community happenings. Sometimes barber shops might want to save money on indoor signs, especially those only employees see. They might print out their message and laminate them. This will keep it protected from dust and water, but presents a clear message. There are often required signs for business, including barbers. These could be exit signs or safety and security signs.
Barber shop signs found inside and outside are neon. These could read barber, barber shop or even open. They feature LED colors including blue, green, red and yellow. These could be one color or several. They are often lit day and night. Having a neon lighted sign helps expand the amount of people that see the sign and could bring them to the barber. Some LED lights are very bright and make them even easier to see. A neon sign will remain strong for at least 100,000 hours before it starts to fade and is warranted for a year. They usually last around 12 years. These neon signs can be found at other locations as well, such as businesses and restaurants. Barber signs that are neon can also be made to flash, which can be extremely eye-catching. Neon barber signs could also have graphics, such as scissors or a barber’s pole displayed. Neon signs, as well as other barber signs, are available in vertical and horizontal styles. Neon signs can be wiped clean easily cleaned, when needed.
