Ruger Sig

Winning with the Sig Sauer P229
I love the Sig Sauer P229! I just bought it and this beautiful gun just helped me win a bet. I wasn’t in town for but a few hours when some country bumpkin friends of mine were texting me asking for a shooting contest. Back in the day, before I joined the army, I was quite the shot. And uhh…I still got it. I’m still the fastest, most accurate shot out of all my idiot friends. But they wanted me to prove that I’m still the best. Billy John thought he actually got better than me. Stupid must be in the water because he forgot I just spent the last six years in the army, shooting guns for a living.
Oh Billy John kept bothering me. Normally, I’d be all about a shooting contest. But I don’t have my guns that I shot with while in the desert. I have a shotgun, but that’s it. My Pa mentioned that I have plenty of bills to start a stock pile of guns—for play and protection. So I told Billy John he could wait until I bought some new artillery before we have our contest.
I went to my local gunsmith who remembered the first time I came in with my Papy to buy a gun. I was assisting, not buying. Oh gosh, I must have been about nine then. Now I’ma grown man, all muscular and trim. I’ve served overseas fighting off the bad guys. But now that I’m back, I know I want a Sig Sauer P229 and a Ruger LCP. I also was on the hunt for a good deal. And unfortunately, he couldn’t give me the best deal. So I took my bills to the Internet. I may be a mean, lean, sexy cut machine, but I’m no dummy. I know that in order to find a real deal, I need to let my fingers do the walking.
I looked at several sites and decided on Grumpy’s Guns. First of all, I just like the name. If I go tell Papy that I bought my Ruger LCP from Grumpy’s Guns, he’d pat me on the back. If I told him I got it at an auction site, he would take that cane hit me on the head. And it just so happens that the Sig and Ruger are on sale at Grumpy’s Guns. Score one for Big C!
So the week after my Sig arrived, I texted Billy John to meet me at my pa’s gun range for a contest. He was so damn cocky. But I just calmly smirked at him. I invited some of our lady friends too as witnesses.
Sure enough, I’m the naturally talented, best shot out of two of us. But my Sig made it easy. It felt perfect in my hands as I began shooting. I hit the target right in the center a few seconds before his hit the target in the arm. Sucks to lose to an army vet. Idiot should have known better than go up against me.
