What is the best .308 all round rifle?
I want the rifle to be a good Range shooter (decent up to 700 yards) and be able to drop deer and pigs. Also would like it to have a free floated barrel. Please would you be able to give me the exact rifle e.g. if rem 700 say rem 700, vtr etc.
Remington 700 doesn’t come with a free floated barrel But its still one of the best out there especially when you consider price. Plus you could always swap the stock out for a bedded and free floated stock and you would be all set. My 700 adl can hit a quarter at 200 yards with store bought ammo and the whole package cost me 430 dollars.
