Talley Scope Mounts For Hunting And Tatical Firearms
Talley mounts are widely regarded as some of the best manufactured. They now offer a complete range of scope mounts to suit hunters, police and military applications.
Talley tactical rings are CNC machined from the same billet of 7075 T-6 aluminium. This is the same aluminum that the better manufacturers use for M-16 recievers and it is 40% stronger than the 6000 series aluminum often used by other manufacturers. To ensure alignment, the hole for the scope is bored straight through. As long as your rail is straight, your rail will be too. To ensure the clamps go back on the same mount, each component is individually serial numbered. These mounts are ultra rugged with a stainless steel recoil bar. This mount is cleared for .50 BMG and will take the recoil of any magnum hunting caliber. The Talley mount fits MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails. All fixings are stainless to ensure corrosion resistance and there are four clamping screws holding down each clamp to ensure the scope does not move fore and aft under recoil. Talley rings in tactical format are made in both 30mm and 1″ and come in low, medium and high sizes. As you would expect they feature a hard anodized finish in black to match military weapons.
Talley QD rings are made to fit their own bases which are available for all popular hunting rifles. These mounts are made from steel to ensure the maxiumum strength in a very thin ring. Talley rings are designed to be very sleek to avoid snagging on your clothing or gear. A rugged steel bar is used to take the weapon’s recoil. This mount will withstand all magnum hunting calibers. These mounts are very attractive and look great on classic hunting rifles. The Talley rings in quick detach are available in 1″ and 30mm in low, medium and high and all models can be purchased in blued, satin or stainless.
Talley fixed rings were adapted from the Talley quick detach ring and offer a really rugged mounting solution at the minimum weight for hunting and target shooting applications. They have a very slim profile as they clamp vertically which prevents the tendency for the scope to rotate in the mounting whilst being torqued down.
