Open water swimming is gaining popularity and this competition allows open-air swimmer to compete for charity.
Rock climbing and abseiling are popular outdoors activity that people enjoy when they come to The Lake District. In fact the area is often regarded as the birthplace of rock climbing. There are climbs suitable for all levels of experience and opportunities to learn. If you enjoy caving then there are lots of caves and caverns to explore beneath the famous lakes and mountains.
