It may be one small step, but the launch of the Australian and New Zealand website for much-loved American kids’ footwear brand, See Kai Run, is a giant leap for parents who want the best for their little walkers.

What are the origins of this coveted footwear brand ?Well, necessity is the mother of invention. Seattle mom, Cause Haun, couldn’t find toddlers’ footwear that was both functional and fabulous.She was looking for comfortable shoes with flexible soles that would give her own toddler the freedom to move.
During a visit to China, Haun saw some shoes that sparked her imagination, so she brought some back to the US and sold them in a flash. In 2004, she started the company, named after her own son, Kai, and news of the groundbreaking kids’ shoes spread like wildfire through the virtual chatboards across America.In its first year of operation, the business grew by over 400% and now offers three distinct footwear ranges, the “Smaller’ (0-18 months), ‘See Kai Run’ (3 – 8 years) and the ‘Eleven’ Collection (8 – 11 years).
