Mini Revolver

Do you think a NAA mini-revolver is too small to use in a self-defense situation?
I was just watching videos of the NAA mini-revolvers, and they look kinda small, like they would be extremely hard to operate in a high stress situation. Even as a B.U.G., there would have to be something better, especially if you have big hands. I think I would want something I could hold on to a little better. I do like the .22 magnum round but, do you think a NAA mini-revolver is too small to use in a self-defense situation?
come on Newell your 118 pounds, if I hit a guy in the arm with a bowie knife his arm could probably be severed right off.
The minimum revolver caliber for self-defense purposes is .38 Special. (Minimum for semi-auto is 9x19mm — maybe .380 if you have a physical handicap that makes 9x19mm too much to handle.) We don’t allow anything less in our defensive handgun classes. That should tell you something.
A .22 might scare someone off. Or it might make them mad (or even cause them to fall down laughing). What it’s very unlikely to do is stop an attack. It does you no good if the person who killed you keels over two days later from infection or internal bleeding.
Add to that the tiny size — hence clumsy handling — inaccuracy beyond a couple of yards and loss of power due to short barrel and it’s really a non-starter. A 200 lb mugger loaded up on dope and adrenalin probably wouldn’t even know he’d been shot until it was much too late to do you any good.
There are lots of good candidates for defensive firearms in the world, This isn’t one of them.
