Dark Earth

Earth Polar Shift 2012 – The Least Of Our Worries
The world is about to end, or at least that’s what believers of end of the world theories think.
Depending on who’s prophecy you are subscribing to, the year 2012 seems to usher talks about the destruction of mankind, the dawn of a new age, the beginning of a new millennia or a string of catastrophes, Earth polar shift 2012, for one, that will ruin the Earth for good. Even current history and future trends seem to agree.
Planet X Theory – Collision With [Planet Nibiru Or The Rogue Planet]
It’s a nutty idea but it is something that has gained popular support. It all begun with a tale of a rogue planet or Nibiru that is said to revolve around the sun outside the orbits of Pluto. Although expert astronomers dismiss the idea of a Planet Nibiru, proponents of the Planet X theory advocate the idea that this planet will soon come in contact with the Earth, in the year 2012.
A few years ago, NASA identified a near Earth object 3 times farther than Pluto. Proponents of the Planet X theory identified Eris as their Planet Nibiru. Although NASA rejects the idea that Eris will collide with the Earth soon, fanatics believe that Eris will enter the Solar System and come close to Earth in the year 2012, causing disruptions to the Earth’s gravity.
A One Every 26,000 Year Planetary Alignment
Every 26,000 years, the Sun, the Earth and the Center of the Milky Way galaxy form a galactic alignment. The previous alignment is said to have led to the discover of fire, the next alignment is hoped to usher a new chapter in mankind’s history, one that is revolutionary. What has caused so much interest about this rare cycle is that we will be entering the end of the current cycle in 2012.
To many, this will not come to pass easily, though. Some support the belief that along with the coming of a new age or a new era, comes the cataclysmic end of the world.
Solar Storms That Can Send Mankind To Extinction
Every 11 years, the Sun completes its solar cycle which is marked by elevated sunspot activities. These sunspots, otherwise called as massive magnetic storms, give off solar flares that have varying intensities. In 2012, another ending of the cycle will happen. If the solar flares that will be emitted in the year 2012 are powerful enough, these flares can penetrate the weakening Earth’s magnetic shield and wreak havoc on Earth.
Pole Flip
Every one-quarter of a million years, the Earth’s poles undergo a change – a shift in locations. Scientists believe that we have long been overdue with the next flip since the last one happened 780,000 to 790,000 years ago. When this occurs, the world turns upside down, literally.
If all these predictions of apocalyptic future are true, the Earth polar shift 2012 could probably be the least of our worries. The world might turn upside down, yes, but we have worries far severe than that.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring $5.11 Score composer Howard Shore has informed this first installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy with his distinctly modern sensibilities. TSO, in fact, aims to retrace a path once traveled by producer Jim Steinman, the mastermind behind the theatrical, over-the-to… |

Bone Machine $6.33 This is Waits’s most harrowing album ever, thanks not only to such heartwarming sentiments as “What does it matter, a dream of love or a dream of lies / We’re all going to be in the same place when we die” but also to the ravaged, shamanistic croak with which he delivers them. Death hangs like a bad suit on songs like “Jesus Gonna Be Here,” “The Ocean Doesn’t Want Me,” and “Murder in the Red Barn…. |
