The Difference Between Cell Phone Holsters and Cell Phone Cases
Since more and more people use their cell phones as their primary means of communication, there is a high demand for cell phone accessories. One of the accessories people are in search of is cell phone holsters. A holster is often thought of as a cell phone case, but this is a different type of accessory. However, these two types of accessories do have some similarities.
Cell phone holsters are holders for cell phones and provide a great way to carry and protect one’s phone. The holster is typically a case where the phone fits into. The difference between cell phone holsters and cases is the usability of the phone. Cell phones in holsters must be removed prior to answering or making a call. A cell phone case allows the phone to be used while it remains in the case. The case is an accessory whose primary use is to protect the cell phone rather than serve as a carrying case. Cell phone holsters are the opposite. Although one function is to protect the phone, the primary objective is to be a carrying device.
Cell phone holsters provide important functions and can be found in a variety of materials, colors, and designs. Every holster is slightly different so it is important to check compatibility with one’s phone.
