The Scout’s primary weapons is the Scattergun. Supported by a pistol. When all else fails then the baseball bat comes out for some melee action. Just like the original Team Fortress Classic the scout is still top in the speed ranks, and with the double jump ability. This all results in quick and fast captures and assaults, and when armed with the scatter gun then a lot of damage can be done at close range. But he has the least amount of health of all the classes and so can be taken down easily by most other classes. The scouts main role has always been to acquire objectives, i.e. capturing control points or flags. Because he has speed behind him he is in and out with flags in no time and when on control point type maps he acts like two people. Always been the hare rather than the snail then the scouts double jump is quickly approaching you!
With a primary weapon of a rocket launcher for the solider. His secondary weapons is the shotgun. Slightly simple for a back up but the shovel works. The soldier is the core general assault person, and is simple and quick to get on and play with but just because he is simple doesn’t mean that he is not deadly. Being equipped with his rocket launcher as his primary and a very good health without being slow means they are versatile and so can play both on the offensive or the defensive. This makes him a quick pick and play class and so is normally the choice for new gamers to play. With a unique skill of the rocket jump where he can fire a rocket into the ground whilst jumping and this launches them in to the sky, although does use some health. Once you have perfected this skill you can pop up in the most unexpected places and start the attack before your attacked. When you pair up with a medic when you don’t have a heavy is great force. The soldier is for do anything go anywhere type person on TF2 hosting.
The pyro has been given the flame-thrower to start.The kind of cool weapon you don’t get on a Counter-Strike Source server. A shotgun is the secondary weapon for the pyro. The pyro will set fire to players who are close enough and inflict a lot of damage over time through burning. The pyro hasnt got much in the way of range and so must rely on ambushing people who are off guard. The pyro is also great for finding setting fire to spys who are cloaked or disguised as this very quickly flushes them out. Can again be played in a defensive role to confuse any incoming attackers. A pyro will make defending your snipers and sentry guns from spys alot easier. He also makes clearing patches of sticky bombs easier with his deflection ability where he sends flying objects back the way they came. Like the smell of burning in the air, then a pyro is a must for you!
